What is WORN?

We're a small team based in New York's Hudson Valley, and we started Worn because we were sick of buying socks. Not socks in general, we love socks, but the kind that go soft after six washes, lose their shape, and end up balled up in the back of a drawer - or worse - in a landfill. And what's more, we wanted a softer version than the scratchy thick wool socks already on the shelves.

That meant starting from the fiber up. We built Arrowool™, our own blend of 100% organic merino and technical fibers. Merino because it already does the hard work cotton can't — it regulates temperature in both directions, resists odor, and wicks moisture instead of holding onto it. Enhancing it with technical fibers gave us a sock that holds its shape wash after wash, refits itself to your foot every time, and lasts roughly four times as long as a cotton pair.

Everything we've made since — base layers, tees, briefs, whatever's next — gets built the same way: figure out the occasion, engineer the fabric to actually handle it and create a lasting product that fits like a glove and feels like butter. A tall order, but we think we've done it.

For us in the end it all comes down to this: Buy better. Buy less. Wear what lasts.
